pretty standard american eagle. I turned the head towards the arrows due to it being a time of war. It is a time of war still, right?

some recent works

Did this Sailor Jerry wolf on Trent City. I work with him and he is a constant source of entertainment. Also an up and coming tattooer. Now if I could only get him out into the world once in a while.
Got some healed pics of this Octopus today. I dont think it is posible for me to do another octopus tattoo this year. So many. I do not know what it is but I went 13 years without doing more than 2 or three of these fellas and all of a sudden,BAM. 20 octopuses.

Big Joe's latest skull

Joe was one of the first people I tattooed when I moved to washington. We did this one on his birthday. The design is from the Bob Roberts stencil book, one of my favorites in the book!
So excited to get to do this tattoo. When I was first getting interested in art most of my inspiration came from album art and skateboards. This King Crimson album was very big for me. I have to admit that the music was a little beyond my understanding at the time (still is) but the cover caught my attention immediately. While visiting Tony one day he pulled out this record and the memories came flooding back. We finished this one up right when my ipod ran out of King Crimson. Perfect.

Hannya

Healed picture of a hannya I did in late august early September of 2010. This guy took good care of this one.

Lets see if I can keep up with this blog business,

Hello, Im Bo and I live and work in the northwest. Mostly a father/tattooer but I am also a music nerd from way back. If I post anything else on this blog it will most likely be about one of those 3 things. This particular tiger head is part of a full backpiece. I finished it back in june or july. Lots of fun!
